StepMap is a free web-service, enabling you to create, edit and share individual and personalized maps. Also, it allows you to export your maps to any other web site. The term "map" includes all kinds of topics, themes and design option. StepMap offers you a free tool to create maps that represent your specific, personal requirements and design ideas.

We differentiate between two distinct user groups. One group represents those who create maps to visualize a certain topic or piece of information. The other group represents those who search for maps, e.g. to get information about a certain topic or piece of information.

Please note that StepMap is a service created and located in Berlin, Germany. We provide this "English Version" as a preview to those who are interested in the service, asking you that it is still being developed as of today. Therefore, we provide a general "Disclaimer" in English but refer to the original "Nutzungsbedingungen" (Terms of Use) in German language on www.stepmap.de. If you want to become a registered user of StepMap (signing up is free of charge) you need to be aware that you are using a German web-service with a translated user-interface and German Terms of Use, as follows:
